It may seem unconventional to make a dessert out of a dessert but when it comes to Oreo Cookies we will try anything.  And this refrigerated cream pie does not disappoint.  This yummy No-Bake Oreo Cream Pie’s light and creamy filling is chock full of cream cheese and Oreo Cookies and sits on a delicious homemade Oreo Cookie crust. Mmmm, mmmm, good.  Easy to make, this is a great pot-luck dessert or last-minute family dinner treat.  We hope your family loved it as much as ours did.

How to Make the Oreo Crust

Step 1: Our Oreo Pie starts with an Oreo Cookie Crust.  You can buy these in the store, or you can make them from scratch.  If you need a recipe, we have a great Oreo Crust recipe here with all the tips and tricks you’ll need to make a yummy oreo cookie crust.  You don’t need to bake the crust, just stick it in the refrigerator for at least an hour before you begin making the filling.  

How to Make the Cream Pie Filling

Step 2: In a large bowl add the cream cheese and powdered sugar.
Step 3: Beat with a mixer until the sugar is well-mixed and the cream cheese is smooth.
Step 4: Pour whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture and carefully fold it together with a spatula or a spoon.
Step 5: Do not over-mix.  You don’t want the cream filling to deflate.

Step 6: Give the Oreo Cookies a rough chop.
Step 7 – 8:  Add the chopped Oreos to the cream pie mixture and continue to gently fold together.  Again, do not overmix. 

How to Assemble the Pie

Steps 9-10: Pour filling into the prepared Oreo crust and smooth it out with a knife or a spreader.

Serving/Storage Instructions

Let the pie set up for at least four hours (but preferably overnight) in the refrigerator before serving.  Don’t forget to top with crushed Oreos and/or whipped cream right before you serve it. The Oreo Pie should last in the refrigerator for up to a week.

No Bake Oreo Cream Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 block Cream Cheese (softened) (8 oz. size)
  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 container Whipped Topping (8 oz. size)
  • 10 Oreo cookies (roughly chopped (about 1 1/2 cups))
  • 1 Oreo Cookie Crust in a 9" pie pan

Instructions

  1. Make an Oreo Cookie Crust for a 9" pie plate.  You can buy these in the store, or you can make them from scratch.  If you need a recipe, we have a great Oreo Crust recipe here with all the tips and tricks you'll need to make a yummy oreo cookie crust.  You don't need to bake the crust, just stick it in the refrigerator for at least an hour before you begin making the filling.  
  2. To make the pie filling, In a large bowl beat cream cheese and powdered sugar.
  3. Mix until the sugar is well-mixed and the cream cheese is smooth.
  4. Pour whipped topping into cream cheese mixture and carefully fold together. Do not over mix.
  5. Add the chopped Oreos and continue to fold in. 
  6. Pour filling into prepared Oreo crust. 
  7. Let set up in the refrigerator for at least four hours but preferably overnight.
  8. Top with crushed Oreos and/or whipped cream.
