Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: Add the butter, softened to room temperature (but not melted) to a bowl.

Step 2: Whip the butter with a beater or in a stand mixer until it is light and fluffy. Add the honey and whip again until fully combined.

Step 3: Serve as is if you want this type of soft butter for your Cornbread or Biscuits or you can put it back in the refrigerator to harden back up.

Should I use Salted or Unsalted Butter?

We usually use Salted Butter. But If you are using unsalted butter, add a pinch of salt!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter (Sweet Cream Salted)
  • 1/3 cup Honey

Instructions

  1. Add the butter, softened to room temperature (but not melted) to a bowl.
  2. Whip up with a beater or in a stand mixer.
  3. Add the honey and whip again until fully combined.
  4. Serve as is if you want this type of soft butter or you can put it back in the refrigerator to harden back up.

Notes

If you are using unsalted butter, add a pinch of salt!

Honey Butter should be refrigerated and will last as long as regular butter does in the refrigerator.
