Madee this today for a basic vanilla cake – was perfect! Love the pop of color from the chopped cherries, I used a few more than the recipe called for.

We used Luxardo maraschino cherries in this and the results were AMAZING. They’re packed in syrup, not in juice, so it eliminates the need for cornstarch– I actually had to add a few tablespoons of water to get the frosting thin enough to easily spread. They’re $$$, but really took this to another level. Bonus- they are also amazing in Manhattans (and Shirley Temples!)

LOVE IT!! I did, however, double the cherries. Mine seemed small and I wanted it more RED than pink for the 61st Birthday Boy.

Yum. I added a ton more of the cherries. Almost the entire jar. I reeeeealy like maraschino cherries. This is a great frosting! Put it on maraschino cherry And dark chocolate chip sugar cookies. Super tasty.

This is an amazing buttercream. I am a hardcore baker and decorator, this is one of my favortie frostings to make. Excellent I highly recommend it.
